See ya later, Tuesday! I can't be any happier declaring that yesterday is done.

The day was going well. Things were rolling out wonderfully. The dishes were drip drying. Dinner was delicious. The kids were getting along great. The tea in my cup was warm.

I'd settled in with my textbook then decided to skip over and put a movie on for the kids buying myself some solid study time. That's when it all went downhill.

I sat on the edge of the solid maple bed to hear the frame split along a hidden fault in the wood. In a flash the mattress, my daughter and I were all on the floor.

Hubby disassembled the frame and carried the firewood outside while I steamed in frustration.
